Sam Barker’s latest series is a celebration of youth culture, shot on location in Tottenham N17. Known for its bold shop fronts, markets and street signage, the area provided a vibrant backdrop for the portraits.

Sam choose locations that felt personal and familiar: his local Chinese takeaway (usually with a Lime bike parked out front) and Bruce Grove Market  – a spot he’d often walked past, imagining it as a perfect setting.
