Kate Peters shortlisted for the 2023 Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize

Congratulations to Kate Peters for having her portrait, Reece and his daughter, shortlisted in this year’s Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize.

Commissioned by Jason Potterton and ESPN to photograph a story on Crawley Town Football Club after their takeover by cryptocurrency investors WAGMI United, London-based photographer Kate Peters focused on documenting fans of this fiercely traditional club who were wary of the takeover. Reece and his daughter Francesca were heading to the stadium to watch Crawley Town FC v Barrow AFC at home. Crawley won 1-0.
