ITV’s “A Taste for Muder” Key Art by Sam Barker
A Taste for Murder is a six-part British crime drama television series that premiered on 7 April 2026 on ITV. It was created and written by Matt Baker.
The series follows DCI Joe Mottram, a grieving Metropolitan Police detective who travels to the sun-soaked island of Capri, Italy. Accompanied by his troubled teenage daughter, Angelica, Joe hopes the summer trip will help them process the tragic hit-and-run death of his wife, Sofia. While staying with his late wife’s Italian family, Joe’s holiday is cut short when local crimes shake the island. He soon partners with local police inspector Lara Sarrancino to solve a string of mysterious murders where food, cooking lessons, and local culture often provide key clues. Over the course of the six episodes, Joe is drawn into deep-rooted underworld conspiracies involving protection rackets and the Mafia.
